Research Committee | The Research Committee promotes and supports scholarly activity within the athletic training profession. It encourages evidence-based practice by fostering research initiatives, reviewing and sharing current findings, and recognizing contributions that advance the science and practice of athletic training in Indiana. Scholarship Committee | The Scholarship Committee oversees the promotion, selection, and administration of IATA’s scholarship programs. It works to recognize and support outstanding students pursuing careers in athletic training by reviewing applications, selecting recipients, and ensuring that scholarship opportunities align with the association’s mission to advance the profession through education and service. |
Honors & Awards
| Honoring and celebrating our members and those who work closely with athletic trainers is the focus of this committee. The Honors and Awards committee is responsible for obtaining and reviewing nominations for the IATA Awards. Nominations are accepted all year long.
