The Communications Committee serves as the public relations authority for the IATA and coordinates all media relations to enhance the profession. Additionally, the Communications Committee is responsible for producing 6 issues annually of the IATA E-news and maintaining the website. They are tasked with keeping the membership up-to-date on needed information.

The Development Committee oversees the financial planning and investments for the IATA, and in conjunction with the elected officers, oversees the annual budget. Additionally, the Development Committee is responsible for seeking out corporate sponsors for annual support of the IATA.

The professional development committee coordinates the education planning of the annual symposium and IATA online education. Any questions regarding CEUs for either state licensure or the Board of Certification should be directed to the Chair.

    The purpose of this committee is:

    1. Assist Indiana’s licensed athletic trainers in the development of strategies to obtain revenue for their services.
    2. Provide methods and resources for Indiana’s licensed athletic trainers to improve various aspects of their own practice setting, both individually and collectively.
    3. Collaborate with colleagues on other IATA committees to improve ways the licensed athletic trainer delivers their services, both clinically and administratively in the state of Indiana.
