IN COPA Mission Statement

To advance opportunities for practice advancement of the Indiana Athletic Training profession in business and employment opportunities, compensation, and brand recognition of athletic trainers as health care professionals.

Strategic Objectives

1. Provide direction and assistance to the members in the areas of job creation, emerging practices, compensation, billing models, reimbursement methods, and other activities that enhance the brand of the athletic training and advance the profession.
2. Coordinate and develops projects for the members that will enhance specific areas within the athletic training profession.
3. Coordinate and help provide educational opportunities with the Education Committee Chair that involves current practice advancement topics for athletic trainers and students.
4. Assist with the dissemination of practice advancement information provided from State Regulatory Boards for the athletic trainer.
